Abstract

A system, built at the UOT VSCHT Praha using commercially available devices is described. The equipment is designed for measuring the adsorption isotherms and TPD spectra of sorbates, applied in the form of gases and vapours. Very good reproducibility was confirmed for the data measured this way. The contribution gives some examples of the employed methodology and the results obtained by measuring pyridine adsorption isotherms and TPD spectra from the surface of sorbents represented by CHEROX 46-0X (X=0,1) catalysts, products of CHEMOPETROL, a.s., Litvinov.
