Výroba námelových alkaloidů v opavské továrně na léky

Abstrakt

Research and production of ergot alkaloids began in former Czechoslovakia as early as the 1950s. In 1963, the production was transferred to the company Galena Opava, and this small pharmaceutical plant gradually became the world's largest producer of ergot alkaloids, manufacturing the full range of therapeutically used substances, both natural and semisynthetic. It has maintained this position up to the present day, now as part of the company TAPI, headquartered in Israel. The production is based on the extraction of field ergot, and it is precisely the perfected technology of its cultivation that forms the foundation of the company's success in this field.

Výzkum a výroba námelových alkaloidů byly v bývalém Československu zahájeny už v padesátých letech minulého století. V roce 1963 byla výroba převedena do podniku Galena Opava a tato nevelká farmaceutická továrna se postupně stala největším světovým výrobcem námelových alkaloidů a vyráběla celé spektrum terapeuticky užívaných látek, přírodních i semisyntetických. Toto postavení si udržela až do současnosti, nyní jako součást společnosti TAPI se sídlem v Izraeli. Výroba je založena na extrakci polního námele, a právě dokonalá technologie jeho pěstování je základem úspěchu firmy v této oblasti.
